Using modular buildings in healthcare is a very cost effective method of increasing the size of existing buildings or changing their use, with minimum disruption to the existing build.

Over the last twenty years there has been increasing pressure on the provision of health care in the UK. Many factors are at play including an ageing population, a population expansion in certain urban areas and a change in the infrastructure including the closure of cottage hospitals, and the privatisation of certain primary care facilities.

The reality is that both in its short and long term planning, consideration must be given to either increasing the current medical facilities or creating new ones.

Modular Build’s mission is to provide limitless design options to enable the growth of new healthcare units, either by extending, or in some cases, building new developments.
